The aim of the project was to investigate the feasibility of geothermal and solar energy for domestic purpose in two separate remote rural communities i.e. Warmundi, Indonesia and McArthur, Northern Territory, Australia.
Responsibilities & Achievements
Developed thorough understanding of solar and geothermal energy that includes cost effectiveness, maintenance, durability and calculating energy.
Discovered solar energy is more effective in remote communities as it offers a low maintenance cost, easy transportation and reliable source of energy in tropical regions.
